Black marble panels giving both Great War and World War II names. The First World War panel was dedicated on 10 November 1921 by
the Bishop in the Isle of Wight (Dr Macarthur).

Henry Thomas Swan, of Bombay, Captain, Royal Indian Marine, died at his sister's residence in Seaview on 7th March 1916, aged 41.
The notice of his death says he was the elder son of the late Capt H.T. Swan of Bristol and West Africa. |
