Sons of Sydney Thomas Kemp and Emily Kemp (née Hayden) of Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Stanley Hayden Kemp : born 10 Oct 1889, at 27 Prince's Street, Ryde; died 19 Mar 1976 in hospital in Tendring, Essex (his home was in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex).

Douglas Gordon Kemp : born 10 Aug 1892, at 27 Prince's Street, Ryde.

Lawrence Victor Kemp : born 21 Feb 1895, at 13 Edwards Street, Ryde; married 1927, Elsie Maud Louisa Phillips, at Christ Church, George Street, Ryde; died 29 Jan 1967 in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
  Census information :

1891 : Sydney and Emily Kemp, with their son Stanley aged 1, are living with her parents at 27 Prince's Street, Ryde. Sydney Kemp is a Grocer's Assistant.

1901 : Sydney and Emily Kemp, with their children including Stanley aged 11, Douglas aged 8, and Lawrence aged 6, are living with her parents at 13 Edwards Street, Ryde. Sydney Kemp is a Grocer's Assistant.

1911 : Sydney and Emily Kemp, with their children including Douglas aged 18, and Lawrence aged 16, are at Temple House, George Street, Ryde. Sydney Kemp is a Grocer's Assistant, Douglas Kemp is an Architect's Assistant, and Lawrence Kemp is a Draper's Assistant.
Stanley Kemp is a Boarding Student, aged 21, at The Training College, Winchester [a Diocesan establishment, training schoolmasters].

Douglas Gordon Kemp

Died 23 March 1918, aged 25.

He is buried in a mass grave in the German Cemetery at Quéant, France, and is commemorated in the H. A. C. Cemetery in Ecoust-St. Mein, Pas de Calais, France.

Although his date of death was originally recorded as 21 March 1918, Red Cross records show that it was actually on 23 March 1918.
