Memorial

The Tower Hill Memorial in London names those members of the Mercantile Marine and Fishing Fleets (in the Great War) and the Merchant Navy (in World War II) who died in the course of their duties. Over 24.000 names are recorded on the panels including at least 29 men from the Isle of Wight.
