BRIGHSTONE GRANGE STATION
OF THE
ROYAL NATIONAL LIFEBOAT INSTITUTION


Vessels and lives saved

The Life Boat "WORCESTER CADET" was
placed on this Station by the Royal National Lifeboat
Institution in 1880. The cost of the Boat was defrayed
from the "WORCESTER CADET" Life Boat Fund which
was raised by the exertions of Captain J.H. SMITH, late
Captain Superintendent of the Training Ship "WORCESTER",
stationed off Greenhithe, Kent.
