Killed in Action.
___
News was received at Newport, Isle of Wight, on Wednesday morning, of the death of Lieut. Sydney Knott, who before joining up was a member of the Town Council there. He was attached to the 3rd Worcestershire Regiment, and was killed in action on Saturday. Much sympathy is felt with the bereaved widow and other members of the family, including his father-in-law, Alderman R.B. Cheverton, J.P.
