Son of Henry William Furmidge and Harriett Elizabeth Furmidge (née Sheath), of Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Born : 1895, Ventnor, Isle of Wight.

1911 : Henry and Harriett Furmidge, with their children including James aged 15, are at 6 Park Road, Ryde. Henry Furmidge is a General Carrier's Foreman; James Furmidge is a Draper's Assistant.
