Married 27 Sep 1913, Florence May Saunders, Newport Register Office. One daughter, Kathleen Joan, born 1917.

Served with the Royal Engineers throughout WW I, latterly as a Platelayer with the Army Railway Dept at Longmoor, Hampshire. Discharged
as being permanently unfit for military service, with tuberculosis. Death registered in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.
