Further Information

Sons of Hilton Morris and Mary Jane Morris (formerly Moore or Ballard), of Shorwell, Isle of Wight. Hilton Morris was a Farmer, and in 1911 was resident at Berry Cottage, Chillerton, Isle of Wight. He later farmed at Bucks Farm, Kingston, until well after WW II.

Stephen Ballard Morris

Born 1912.

Appointed Acting Pilot Officer in June 1939.

Died while apparently executing an unauthorised aerobatic manoeuvre in a Harvard training aircraft, at a Flying Training School, near Evesham, Worcestershire.

David John Morris

Born 1911.

Circumstances of death not known. His squadron, 21 Sqn., operated Bristol Blenheim aircraft in the Mediterranean theatre of operations. David John Morris is commemorated at the Commonweath Air Forces Memorial in Malta.
