Page 5 THE ISLAND AND THE WAR. DIED H.H. Snow, Hants Regt. (Whitwell) WHITWELL The sad news has been received of the death from pneumonia on November 4th of Rfn. H.H. Snow, 1-8th Hants. He was 26 years of age, and saw service in the Gallipoli campaign, through which he came without a scratch. He also served with his regiment until after the capture of Gaza. The funeral took place at the Military Cemetery, Kantara, the service being taken by the Rev. Harris. |
