Born : 25 April 1892, Northam, nr Bideford, Devon.

1901 : John C Pakenham [sic], aged 8, is a boarder at Parton Grammar School, North Walsham, Norfolk. His parents are listed at Hill House, Dilham, Norfolk.

1911 : Charles John Wingfield Pakenham, aged 18, is a 2nd Lieutenant, with the 3rd Bn., Hampshire Regiment, in Aldershot.
