Son of William Keynes and Mary Violet Keynes (née Hansford) of 1, Oakfield Hill, Ryde; husband of Mrs. Ethel L. Keynes, of "Southdene", Well St., Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Born 1892 Warminster, Wiltshire.

Married 1915, Ethel Louise Matthews, at the Congregational Chapel, George Street, Ryde. One daughter, Vera Winifred Mary, born 1916.

Pte. W.T. Keynes formerly in business as a hairdresser in Pier Street, Ventnor, and a native of Ryde, was killed in action last Monday week. He closed his shop at Ventnor to join the Portsmouth Battalion of Kitchener's Army.
