Sapper 16498 James Frederick Boyce, 26th Field Coy, Royal Engineers.

James Frederick Boyce joined the Royal Engineers on 26 January 1907 at Sandown, and was transferred to the Reserve on 26 January 1910. Called up for service in the Great War, he embarked for France with the British Expeditionary Force on 17 August 1914. He died from wounds received in action on 1 November 1914.
