Whitwell Man Killed
Mr. and Mrs. F. Warne, of Whitwell Farm Cottages, Whitwell, have received notification that their only son, Private Frederick Charles Warne, of a county regiment, has been killed in the Central Mediterranean.
Pte. Warne, who was 22 years and single, had previously been reported as missing. Prior to joining up about two years ago, he was employed by Mr. E.A. Walmsley.
