Son of Charles J T Swallow and Gillian M Swallow (née Broomhead).
Ck1 D178106E Andrew Charles Swallow was a cook on H.M.S. Sheffield. He died aged 19 on 4 May 1982 following an Argentine air strike on the ship. Commemorated also at :Bembridge Parish War Memorial Bembridge Holy Trinity Church War Memorial Bembridge Scouts : Falklands 1982 / Andrew Charles Swallow Memorial (not yet recorded) Commemorated at the Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum 
Andrew Swallow is also named on a kneeler at the Falkland Islands Memorial Chapel at Pangbourne College, Berkshire. |
