The War Memorial is separately Listed Grade II. Description A Calvary cross by the north porch of the Church, bearing just the dates of the two wars. The 15 ft high cross was designed by Mr Percy G Stone FSA and erected by Mr Frank Cooper of Newport. It was originally unveiled on Wednesday 17th December 1919, and dedicated by the Bishop of Southampton. The World War II dates were added in 1991. The nearby Town Hall bears the War Memorial plaques naming those from Yarmouth who died. |
