St Michael's Church is Listed Grade I. Since the War Memorial forms part of the structure of the Church it is considered to be included within the Listing.
Description
Three light stained glass window giving the names of Great War casualties. The window was supplied by Messrs Jones and Willis of London,
and the Portland stone surround by Mr J W Newman of Freshwater (James William Newman). The window was dedicated on 3 August 1920.

Frank Cobb died of TB on 17th March 1917 at Lucknow House, Wroxall. He was 23. On his Death Certificate he is shown as being a Motor Lorry Driver
(Naval Pensioner) and the death was notified by his widow M A C Cobb.
His name also appears on the Wroxall War Memorial at St John's Church |

Frederick James Sheaff died on 4th July 1917 aged 41. On his Death Certificate he is shown as being a Naval pensioner. The death was registered by his widow, Rose Sheaff, of Bembridge.
