BIRTHS On the 2nd inst., at Leslie House, Strand, Ryde, the wife of Captain E. A. HAGGARD, of a son. Census Information : 1901 : Emily Haggard, with her children including Richard [sic] aged 8, are at 12 Gordon Place, Kensington, London. 1911 : Rider Lancelot Haggard, aged 18, is a student at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire. He also appears on the 1911 Census of Canada as a Boarder at Merville Ave, Quebec. This was taken later than the English Census, so it appears that he emigrated in 1911. CWGC record ... Not commemorated on any Isle of Wight Memorials : Included here because his place of birth was Ryde, Isle of Wight.
