FROM OUR HAPPY HOME AND CIRCLE,
GOD HAS TAKEN ONE WE LOV'D;
BORNE AWAY FROM SIN AND SORROW,
TO A NOBLE REST ABOVE.

DO NOT ASK US IF WE MISS HIM,
THERE IS SUCH A VACANT PLACE!

AND THE DEAR FAMILIAR FACE.
