Son of Edwin Hayward and Martha Hayward (née Mansell), of Yeovil, Somerset.

Born 1894, Yeovil.

1901 : Edwin and Martha Hayward with their children including Stanley aged 7, are at 11 Queen Street, Yeovil. Edwin Hayward is a Mason's Labourer.

1901 : Martha Hayward, widow, with her children including Stanley aged 16, are at 29 Queen Street, Yeovil. Martha Hayward is a Glove Liner, Edwin Hayward is a Building Labourer.

Stanley Edwin Hayward died at Hazelwood House (Red Cross Hospital) as a result of injuries incurred on the Western Front.
