Czeslaw Olesinski was a Bosman (equivalent RN rank Petty Officer) on the crew of the Polish Submarine ORP Orzel, but he was not with the boat when it was lost to a German attack in 1939. Presumably he then transferred to the crew of the ORP Blyskawica. At the time of his death at the age of 35 he held the rank of St. Bosm. (Starszy Bosman, equivalent to Chief Petty Officer).
