Mr. Cyril Petchey, of Whitwell, formerly assistant at Mr. Scott's ironmongery stores, who was recently reported dangerously wounded in the recent fighting in Palestine, has died of wounds. He was the son of Mr. J. Petchey, formerly schoolmaster at Whitwell.

PETCHEY. - May 11, at Alexandria, Egypt, from wounds received in Palestine on April 13th, Pte. Cyril G. Petchey, Hants Regiment, most dearly-loved husband of Frances Petchey, and youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Petchey, of Whitwell. - Mrs. C. Petchey and family desire, through this medium, to express their sincere thanks to their many friends for sympathetic expressions on this occasion of their great bereavement.
