Probably Born 1880 Buenos Aires, Argentine (Foreign Subject).

  Service details :

Passed out from the Royal Military College, 20th January 1900 and appointed 2nd Lieutenant.

2nd Lieut. Francis Edward Lace, 14th (King's) Hussars.

  Casualty Details :

Accidentally wounded 5 September 1901 by revolver shot, at Jackshill Post.

Died of septicaemia 21 October 1901 at Newcastle, Natal.
