Page 5 THE ISLAND AND THE WAR SANDOWN News is to hand of the death on December 13, in Egypt, of Rfn. Edward Victor Kent, 20th Batt. Rifle Brigade, husband of Mrs. Kent, 5 Woodbine-terrace. The deceased, who died of wounds, joined up on September 4, 1914 and was previously employed on the links of the Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club and as a postman at Sandown. He leaves a young widow and three little girls, whose ages range from 4½ to 7 years. |
