Son of Frank Hiscock and Mary Matilda Hiscock (née Horsford).
Born 9th January 1896, Thorley.

1911 : Walter Hiscock is shown as a servant at Presford Dairy, as a Dairy Boy. Tom Andrew Butcher is the head of household.

Walter Hiscock's engagement in the R.M.L.I. commenced on the 22nd December 1915. His trade is given as Baker. His next of kin is his father, Frank, of Great East Standen, Newport. Walter is 5 ft 4½ in tall, with fair complexion, hazel eyes and light brown eyes. He has no scars or tattoos. He died of pneumonia just 4 months later and was buried at Deal Cemetery.
