The aircraft was on a sortie to bomb a Chateau at Roumont in Luxemburg, when it crashed at Ucimont 5 km NNW of Bouillon. Flt/Lt Leydon was taken Prisoner of War. The other crewmen are the only 2 CWGC burials at the village of Ucimont in Belgium.
