Formerly in Cockleton Lane, Gurnard, Isle of Wight IWM War Memorials Archive Record Not listed in the IWM Record Description A former family home, dedicated in memory of his mother, Harriet Guy (who died in 1919) by Harry Sidney Guy, and also dedicated as the Cowes War Memorial Convalescent Home. Opened in 1933, the charity still exists, but it is not clear whether the property is still used for its intended convalescent purpose. |
