Son of Robert John Wheeler and Eliza Wheeler (née Death), of 2, Lynton Cottages, High Park, Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Born : 1895 Ryde.

1901 : Robert and Eliza Wheeler, with their son Robert aged 6, are at Lynton Cottage, St John's, Ryde. Robert Wheeler is a Plumber.

1911 : Robert and Eliza Wheeler, with their children including Robert aged 16, are at 2 Lynton Cottages, St John's, Ryde. Robert Wheeler sen., is a Plumber; Robert Wheeler jun., is a Grocer's apprentice.
