Description and history

A sundial in memory of the men and crew of H.M.S. Hampshire, sunk by enemy action on 1st June 1916. The losses included the British Secretary of State for War, Field Marshal, Lord Kitchener, and members of his staff.

Originally sited in the garden of Beauchamp, Niton by Mrs Williams. It was relocated to the Churchyard in June 1921.
